NEW ORLEANS, LA (April 13, 2018) – Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant, the popular surfer-themed hangout, announced the debut of the brand’s newest restaurant in Aruba’s capital, Oranjestad.
Located across from the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino in downtown Oranjestad, the restaurant & bar opened to the public on Monday, April 9, 2018.

Owned and operated by New Orleans-based investment firm Kirkendoll Management, Lucy’s Aruba is the brand’s second international location. Encompassing 13,000-square feet, the restaurant features a 50-table dining room, expansive retail shop, full-service bar, and backside marina and dock.
Restaurant & Bar
From modern dishes with coastal influence to timeless favorites, Lucy’s menu offers selections focused on local ingredients. With an emphasis on freshness and seasonality, the kitchen uses fish and seafood caught from the restaurant’s neighboring marina in a variety of dishes. The expansive open-air restaurant features 12 large-screen televisions, seating for 200+ guests, and an artificial beach for lounging, relaxing, and playing games. Lucy’s restaurant and bar will offer live entertainment, a pet-friendly atmosphere, and serve as a destination for guests to gather before taking the boat to Flamingo Island.
Lucy’s bar takes pride in serving signature surf-inspired cocktails and specialty shots. Try out one of Lucy’s celebrated scorpion shots or the famous Shark Attack to see why Jimmy Buffett named Lucy’s as one of his favorite bars. The Aruba venue offers bar seating for family and friends gatherings in all sizes and happy hour every day from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The spacious 400-square-foot gift shop is a destination for beach and Lucy’s inspired apparel and merchandise.
