Longue Vue House and Gardens Hosts Grand Golden Gamble Fall Fundraiser

Save the date for Longue Vue's 2015 Grand Golden Gamble fall fundraiser on Saturday, October 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. The 2015 Grand Golden Gamble will feature a "reverse drawing" where three lucky winners will walk away with gold coin prizes totaling $4,000! The event includes appetizers, food stations, plentiful beverages and a signature cocktail. Attendees will enjoy the timeless atmosphere of Longue Vue's gardens, drawings for fabulous summer prizes and a "football zone" to catch afternoon games as suspense builds towards the drawing for the winners of gold coins!

The 2015 Grand Golden Gamble is co-chaired by Hillary Gibbs Alread and Katie Weidner. "Longue Vue House and Gardens brings such joy to locals and tourists who visit and learn from the space, and we're excited to continue the Sterns' legacy of hosting noteworthy events at this historic home," says Alread. Weidner added, "Longue Vue is a one of New Orleans' greatest treasures, and I'm thrilled to help share it with our community."

Proceeds from the Grand Golden Gamble will support Longue Vue's educational field trips, hands-on garden-based activities in the Lucy C. Roussel Discovery Garden for children and Longue Vue's vibrant changing arts exhibition program.

Advance tickets are $50 and include entry into the gold coin drawing. Tickets are $75 at the door. Sponsorships and other inquiries can be directed to Barkley Rafferty at 504.293.4726 or brafferty@longuevue.com. Purchase tickets online at www.longuevue.com.
