It's Mardi Gras time and New Orleans is celebrating with parades, beads, king cake and half off admission to the non-profit Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium! The offer runs from Friday, February 17 through Monday, February 27.

"Because the French Quarter draws thousands during the Carnival season, we want to offer locals and tourists who may not have had a chance to visit us yet, the opportunity to be inspired by the wonders of nature while they are in the heart of downtown New Orleans," said Rich Toth, Managing Director, Audubon Aquarium and Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium

Visitors can journey through an underwater adventure in the Great Maya Reef at the Aquarium, be captivated by hundreds of butterflies in the Insectarium's Asian Garden or catch a showing of Hurricane on the Bayou at the Entergy Giant Screen Theater and be inspired to save the wetlands.

Offer is not valid with other discounts or coupons. Discount applies to admission only. Does not apply to any combo package, Audubon Zoo or Entergy Giant Screen Theater only admission. Not valid at Boo at the Zoo, Whitney Zoo-To-Do, Zoo-To-Do For Kids presented by Tulane Pediatrics or any other special admission events at any Audubon attraction.
