New Orleans, Louisiana-Jai Ho! Dance Party was established in 2010 by like-minded individuals driven by their passion for fostering inclusive dance communities and united in their love for Bollywood music. This quintessential Portland phenomenon expanded to Seattle in 2011, L.A. in 2012 & as of 2016 became the only ethnic dance party to occur monthly in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco & San Diego.
On Friday Sept 15, our party launches a venture in expanding it's celebrations outside of the west coast and into the vibrant & southern city of New Orleans. This night of banging Desi & Latin beats will feature dance performances by local NOLA resident and dance teacher, Tina Singh, interactive dance lessons, henna by donation, exclusive Indian inspired drink specials and professional photography. Doors: open at 9pm, show until 2am. Tickets :$10, Strictly 18+.
