Geared towards both believers and curious non-believers, the Ghost Camp will feature well-known New Orleans Ghost Hunters and expert authors and speakers. Events will take place in the Bourbon Orleans Hotel and other areas of the French Quarter.
"New Orleans is a beautiful and mysterious place with something around every corner," says Adrienne Thomas, director of marketing for Gray Line New Orleans. "What better way to learn about our history than from personal stories of those who lived before us, and possibly still walk among us."
Ghost Camp will kick off with a welcome reception and live radio broadcast at the Dauphine Orleans Hotel, also known for its ghostly inhabitants. The event package will include a Ghosts & Spirits Cocktail Tour, Café au Lait and beignets with a Cemetery Voodoo Adventure, Ghosts of the Mississippi River cruise on the Steamboat Natchez, a Séance in the Bourbon Orleans' Quadroon Ballroom, a Spirited Scavenger Quest through the French Quarter, and intriguing Ghost Seminars and Symposium by authors, speakers, and the New Orleans Ghost Hunters. The closing events will include a Gala dinner, a Ghost Hunt in the Bourbon Orleans' Quadroon Ballroom, and a Sunday Awards Brunch.
