National HR and business leaders gather to explore the measurable impact of Employee Resource Groups

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 8, 2025

WHAT/WHO
The Global ERG Network (GEN) Spring Summit convenes at The Conference Centre On 11 (Pan American Life Center, 11th Floor) in New Orleans on Tuesday, April 15.

Bringing together HR and business leaders from across the country, this event explores how Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Councils drive measurable business impact and workplace inclusion. While often associated with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), ERGs play a far broader role—enhancing employee engagement, fostering leadership development, and strengthening organizational success. By cultivating strong, connected, and inclusive workplaces, these employee-led groups not only benefit their organizations but also positively impact the broader communities they serve.

As the first one-day professional development event hosted by GEN, the Spring Summit will feature expert-led discussions, new research, and actionable strategies to help organizations quantify ERG success and ensure long-term sustainability. With businesses increasingly recognizing the power of ERGs in developing future leaders and shaping workplace culture, this summit provides a timely and valuable platform to explore their evolving influence.
