(NEW ORLEANS) - April 9, 2015 - Galatoire's Restaurant, the grand dame of New Orleans fine dining, will host Galatoire's 1905 Celebration: 110 Years of Indulging in the Tradition to celebrate its 110th anniversary on April 20. Galatoire's 1905 Celebration will bring guests back in time for a night that will include time-honored customs, cocktails and cuisine in honor of the Bourbon Street restaurant's unique legacy. Cocktails featuring hand-chipped ice and hors d'oeuvres will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a five-course dinner at 7 p.m. in Galatoire's internationally revered main dining room. The evening will exude an atmosphere of nostalgia as guests dine on recipes brought back from the original menu while enjoying entertainment by local jazz band, The Gumbo Trio.

Fried Eggplant

First Course
Oysters Bienville, Oysters Rockefeller
And Galatoire Grand Goute

Second Course
Dinkelspiel Salad
Lump Crabmeat, Shrimp, Boiled Egg, Anchovy and Caviar

Third Course
Pompano Papillote
Oysters, Shellfish and Mushrooms

Fourth Course
Chicken St. Pierre
Scallions, Garlic, Tomatoes and Button Mushrooms

Dessert Course
Duchess Cup
Fresh Peaches, Vanilla Ice Cream and Cointreau

A national dining institution, Galatoire's in New Orleans, was honored with the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant in 2005 and named as one of New Orleans' Top 10 Restaurants in 2012. Galatoire's has earned the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year from 2007 to 2010, and from 2011 to 2013 achieved the Best of Award of Excellence for its wine list.
