Shaping the Future of Learning Through Technology and Collaboration

WHAT/WHO
The Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators (LACUE) Annual Conference will bring together more than 900 educators from across the state to explore innovative classroom technology integration.

The LACUE Conference supports teachers by providing everything they need to create a fully engaged classroom. Attendees will learn how to transform their teaching environments to increase student engagement through the latest learning strategies that integrate technology to improve student achievement, both individually and as a class.

From hands-on workshops exploring 3D printing to interactive presentations on today's top tools like Google Classroom, Kahoot, and SeeSaw, teachers will find resources to develop new competencies and enhance their existing skills. Sessions go beyond basic tool instruction by blending content knowledge with technology integration.

Presenters are carefully selected for their expertise in integrating various technologies, including apps, extensions, websites, Web 2.0 tools, and social media. The conference also offers numerous networking opportunities through facilitated discussion groups and other activities designed to strengthen Professional Learning Networks (PLNs).
