On Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10PM CT (11PM ET & PT), New Orleans’ locals and Food Network fans from around the world can tune in to watch the premiere of Kitchen Takeover – the new Food Network show starring New Orleans’ very own Isaac Toups, Chef/Owner of Toups Meatery and Toups South.

No stranger to television, Toups is thrilled to be back on the small screen and is enjoying working on his new show. “This is some great television. Come watch the big friendly Cajun try to help some good people out of some sticky situations,” says Toups.

In Kitchen Takeover, Toups travels across the country to help failing restaurants and food businesses before they’re shuttered for good. He’s taking over the kitchens, creating new menus, renovating the restaurants and inspiring the staff, all in an attempt to set them on the road to success.

In the first episode, “Cajun Crisis,” Chef Toups is called to help get Margarita Momma’s Bourbon St. Grille in Fayetteville, Georgia, back on track before it gets shut down. With a menu of clashing cuisines and no savings left, the unfocused owners will lose everything if they don’t follow Isaac’s lead.
