New Orleans foodies and philanthropists can unite on Monday, June 5, 2017 when Chef Nina Compton will host a very special dinner at her award-winning restaurant Compère Lapin. Compton, a James Beard 2017 finalist who was recently named one of the "Best New Chefs in America" by Food & Wine, has assembled a top-tier team of toques to create a unique multi-course dinner to benefit No Kid Hungry® - the non-profit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America.
That evening, guests can gather to enjoy culinary delights from Compton and guest chefs Aussie native Executive Chef Aaron Brooks of Edge Steakhouse at the Four Seasons Miami; Michael Pirollo, award-winning chef/owner of Macchialina on Miami Beach; and Food & Wine's "2016 Best New Chef" Michael Guilotta of Maypop & Mopho in New Orleans. The cocktail reception will begin at 6PM, followed by seated dinner and live auction at 7PM. Full menu forthcoming.
Tickets - priced at $150 per person, all-inclusive - can be purchased at No Kid Hungry New Orleans Dinner. For sponsorship and table hosting opportunities, please contact Courtney Smith at courtneys@strength.org.
