Chef Alex Harrell Announces Angeline Gives Back During Anniversary Party

NEW ORLEANS (April 5, 2017) - Chef Alex Harrell and his team at Angeline announced a new fundraising program, Angeline Gives Back, while celebrating the restaurant's second anniversary last night. The restaurant will donate 5% of all private event sales in June 2017 to a winning charity. Anyone and everyone is invited to nominate a deserving, local non-profit.

Nominations are now open through Thursday, May 4, 2017. The top five eligible candidates will be announced on Wednesday, May 10, and the public will have a chance to vote for the winner until Sunday, May 14. The final announcement will be made on Wednesday, May 17.

"We wanted to find a way to say thank you for supporting us through two wonderful years, while also giving back to the New Orleans community," explains Alex Harrell, chef-owner of Angeline. "Through Angeline, we hope to support the causes important to our supporters by letting them nominate and vote for the non-profit."

Angeline will accept one nomination per person. Eligible charities must be a 501c3 non-profit, located in the New Orleans area and must benefit the New Orleans metro area. Nominations can be made in person at Angeline or by submitting a completed nomination form found on the Angeline website.
