Pastry World Cup

(NEW ORLEANS, LA) - March 5, 2024 - On Tuesday, June 11, for the first time in the United States, the Americas selection of the Pastry World Cup will take place in New Orleans. On the banks of the famous Mississippi River, the six most talented duos from across the continent will represent their country for a place in the Grand Finale of the Pastry World Cup, which will be held at Sirha Lyon® in January 2025.

SIX AMERICAN NATIONS IN THE RUNNING
During this selection, six teams from all over the American continent will compete to try to reach the podium of the Americas selection and qualify for the Grand Finale: Argentina, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Paraguay, which is taking part in the competition for the first time this year, and the United States.

CHEESECAKE, AN EMBLEMATIC AMERICAN DESSERT
For this new cycle, the pastry piece must highlight the culinary heritage of the selection's host country. Candidates will revisit an American pastry staple: the cheesecake.
