On September 7 the Irish Cultural Museum of New Orleans will feature a special performance by Neil Byrne and Ryan Kelly, two of the principal singers for the Irish singing group and stage show Celtic Thunder. The museum's Performance on the Patio show is the only New Orleans stop on the duo's 2014 North American tour in support of their chart-topping Acoustically Irish album.

Byrne and Kelly tour and record as two of the stars of the platinum and multi-gold selling musical show Celtic Thunder. A native of Bray, County Wicklow, Neil Byrne has been part of Celtic Thunder since its inception in 2007 and has appeared on all nine of the stage group's Public Television specials and eleven DVDs. Ryan Kelly, a singer-songwriter from The Moy in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, won the 2011 Top Solo Performer in Concert award from the Irish Music Association. An accomplished actor, Kelly often plays the role of the rogue in the formidable Celtic
Thunder theatrical shows.

The pair teamed up for a live show together called "Acoustic by Candlelight" that developed into the recording of Acoustically Irish, which was named Best New Album in 2013 by the Irish Music Association of America. The hit album earned the Billboard World Album Chart #1 position and was an iTunes U.S., Canada and Australia World Album #1 and Celtic Album #1. Kelly and Byrne were also Neil Byrne & Ryan Kelly- Live in New Orleans awarded Best Duo in a Concert, Pub, Festival from the Irish Music Association of America.

Advance ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet Byrne and Kelly at a reception that will be held from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for admission at 7:15 p.m. Prices are $55 for the Meet and Greet with early seating and $35 for general admission.
