New Orleans, August 30, 2017- Catahoula Hotel announces Sam Perez as the new Food and Beverage Manager overseeing award-winning Piscobar Bar & Cafe, and the Rooftop Bar at the Catahoula, now in it's second year of operation and located in downtown New Orleans.

Sam's experience in the food and beverage industry is diverse, working their way through college at
a local chain restaurant to tending bar in New York while sustaining a career in cabinetry, and eventually coming back to New Orleans to share their passion for Pisco. Their philosophy behind the bar mimics that of their everyday life; inclusivity and creative progress. Bartenders are encouraged to present new ideas that support the Piscobar and drive creativity forward. All of the support and training for the staff is driven by a quest for an excellent guest experience and to encourage relaxing moments of escapism within the historic brick walls of Piscobar.

Sam is a 7th generation Islenos advocating for sustainability and fairness for the LGBTQ community
and for coastal restoration in Louisiana and beyond.

The café will be open between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 pm daily for coffee and offering breakfast and lunch menus. The Piscobar opens Sunday through Thursday, 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm,Friday and Saturday 12:00 pm - 12:00 am. The Rooftop Bar at the Catahoula will be open Tuesday through
Thursday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Piscobar and the Rooftop Bar at the Catahoula are also available for private event rental.
