This past year, Cafe Beignet celebrated their 30th anniversary and we are thrilled to announce that a new location has opened! The restaurant, located at 622 Canal Street, opened on Friday, October 9, 2020.
Previously, the first floor housed PJ’s Coffee and the Art of Shaving. The space has been renovated to combine the two and sits between the JW Marriott Hotel and Rubenstein’s. Built in the 1800s, the building displays a beautiful, cast-iron facade that has been preserved.
“With front facing windows and outdoor patio, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the city’s bustling activity and passing streetcars,” says Donna Shay, General Manager.
Cafe Beignet on Canal will serve breakfast, lunch, and fresh beignets all day and will be open Fridays-Mondays from 8am-4pm.
Since COVID-19, Café Beignet has been able to reopen three other locations in the French Quarter: 311 Bourbon Street, 334 Royal Street, and 600 Decatur Street.
