Thursday, July 12, 2018 — Since opening in March 2018, James Beard “Best Chef: South” Nina Compton and Chef/Partner Levi Raines, have been earning rave reviews for their fresh, approachable cuisine at Bywater American Bistro (BABs) in New Orleans’ Bywater neighborhood. On Sunday, July 15th, the ingredient-driven eatery, also known for its exceptional bar program under the direction of Head Bartender Crystal Pavlas, will welcome Hadi Ktiri for a guest bartender takeover from 8PM-10PM.

The new monthly bar takeover series kicks off this Sunday, July 15th. For one night only, cocktail enthusiasts can indulge in summer-inspired libations by the talented Hadi Ktiri, previously of Arnaud’s French 75, and veteran mixologist Crystal Pavlas of Bywater American Bistro. Imbibers can enjoy cocktails crafted with Barbados Rum, aged Jamaican Rum, Cognac, Amontillado sherry wine and more. Drinks will highlight fresh summer ingredients like coconut, peaches, cantaloupe and strawberries.

Bywater American Bistro is located in the Rice Mill Lofts at 2900 Chartres Street in New Orleans’ Bywater district. The restaurant serves dinner, Wednesday – Sunday with seating from 5PM – 10PM and brunch, Saturdays and Sundays with seating from 10:30AM – 2PM.
