(New Orleans, La.) - Audubon Nature Institute welcomes Taylor Audubon Students and Scholars, parents or guardians and two family members or friends to visit FREE on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Audubon Nature Institute recognizes the academic accomplishments of high school students in New Orleans and has partnered with Patrick F. Taylor Foundation and New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) to reward the exceptional work of students during the school year.
Students may enjoy these facilities plus start the work of earning a Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) award. Students can earn their college tuition in high school if they meet the specific core curriculum, standardized test scores, and grade point average requirements. It is never too early for students to talk with their school counselor about TOPS.
Taylor/Audubon Students (GPA 2.5 or above) may visit Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, and NOMA; and Taylor/Audubon Scholars (GPA 3.0 or above) may visit Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, Audubon Zoo and NOMA.
Please visit auduboninstitute.org/members/taylor for more details. Students are asked to check in at the membership window with their Taylor Card before entering.
