(New Orleans, La.) - Summer is winding down and that means changes are coming to the schedules at Audubon Nature Institute attractions, including the Cool Zoo splash park, which will switch to a weekends-only operation through the end of September.
Cool Zoo will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only in September. The splash park closes for the season on Sunday, September 28, 2014.
Beginning September 8, 2014, Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium and the Entergy IMAX® Theatre will be closed on Mondays.
Audubon Zoo will be open 10 a.m to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Operating hours at the Aquarium of the Americas, Butterfly Garden and Insectarium and the Entergy IMAX® Theatre will remain 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
The Entergy IMAX® Theatre schedule currently running will continue through Thursday, September 25, 2014:

11am Great White Shark 3D
12pm Island of Lemurs 3D: Madagascar
1pm Kenya 3D: Animal Kingdom
2pm Great White Shark 3D
3pm Island of Lemurs 3D: Madagascar
4pm Kenya 3D: Animal Kingdom
5pm Island of Lemurs 3D: Madagascar
