Where: Angeline, 1032 Chartres Street, New Orleans

What: Angeline and Spitfire have partnered together to offer a 3-course brunch by chef Alex Harrell of Angeline served with optional boozy coffee and tea pairings by Scott Burlington of Spitfire coffee.

Details: $30 for the three-course prix fixe brunch; $50 with pairings. Angeline's regular brunch menu and cocktails will also be available for order. Walk-ins welcome or call 504-308-3106 for reservations.

 

FIRST COURSE
Choice of one of the following:

Crispy Oyster and Grits
Cocktail Pairing: "Begin Again" made with sweet vermouth, orange-infused cold brew concentrate

OR

Louisiana Tomatoes and Cucumber Salad
Cocktail Pairing: A Whole New World - Oryza gin, jasmine green tea, lemon, egg white, orange bitters

 

SECOND COURSE
Choice of one of the following:

Brioche French Toast
Cocktail Pairing: Creole French *Toast* -
coffee-infused Rougaroux rum, cognac, sparkling wine, orange

Crispy Boudin & Grits
Cocktail Pairing: Awake.Alive.Alert.Enthusiastic -
hot black coffee, a mini mimosa, a shot of mezcal false blood & a soda water with angostaura bitters

Eggs in Hell
Cocktail Pairing: Kentucky Tea Party - black tea, kola syrup, bourbon
