ANGELINE ANNOUNCES DOSE OF THE COAST AS WINNER OF JUNE FUNDRAISER
Angeline Gives Back to Donate 5% of June's private event revenue to the New Orleans non-profit

NEW ORLEANS (May 19, 2017) - Local non-profit, Dose of the Coast, is the winner of Angeline's June fundraiser, Angeline Gives Back. The selection process opened to the public on May 4, accepting nominations for deserving, local non-profit to receive 5% of Angeline's private event sales during June 2017. Dose of the Coast received the most nominations of any other non-profit, ultimately winning with over 100 votes.

Dose of the Coast is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 2016 that provides fishing, sailing, sunset tours, and nature cruises to those impacted by life-altering illnesses - all free of charge. Inspired by the lift of Donald Walker, Sr., who lost his battle with liver cancer in December 2015. An avid fisherman, Walker recognized the amazing, positive impact that the outdoors and the ocean can have on those suffering from the most acute illnesses. Inspired by his journey, Walker's daughter, Ashley Ferguson, started Dose of the Coast to bring the positive impact of the coast to those people dealing with life-altering illnesses.

Funds raised through Angeline Gives Back will help fund future Dose of the Coast outings onto the Louisiana waterways, creating a much-needed distraction that lightens the burden and lifts the spirit.
