On June 11th, 12th and 13th, the Americas selections for the Pastry World Cup and Bocuse d'Or will be held in New Orleans, United States.
On June 11th, under the presidency of Ewald Notter, winner of the Pastry World Cup in 2001 with Team USA, 6 teams of 2 pastry chefs will compete and try to win their place in the Grand Final of Pastry World Cup in Lyon in January 2025.
The competing teams:

On June 12th and 13th, 9 chefs and their commis chefs will compete for a place to represent their country at the Bocuse d'Or Grand Final, under the eyes of Emeril Lagasse, Honorary President of this Americas selection.

Platter theme
The contestants will be asked to cook wild boar rack, alligator sausage and grits. For the plate theme, the candidates will have to work with whole shrimp, oyster and lump crab meat, accompanied by a sauce and served cold or hot on the same plate.
