Located in the heart of the Central Business District at 537 S. Peters St, the American Italian Museum tells the history of American Italians in the Southeast through photographs, articles, family histories and artifacts, including an antique pasta cutting machine, Sicilian cart, St. Joseph's Altar, and much more. The American Italian Museum is a part of the American Italian Cultural Center, which promotes the culture and heritage of the American Italian community by offering Italian language and culture classes, seminars, concerts, and events.The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 am until 4 pm; admission is $5 for seniors and students and $8 for adults. Children under the age of 12 are free.
