As part of the 50th anniversary of Jazz Fest, come and pass a good time celebrating the event’s talented artists in a pre-Festival exhibit entitled “Outside the Tent”.  The exhibit will feature the unique talent and amazing work of Crafts and Folklife participants featured at the upcoming New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell, April 25 – 28 and May 2 – 5, 2019.  The public is invited to the opening night reception on Thursday, April 11 from 6 – 8 p.m. and encouraged to wear their party clothes expecting a festive time.  Many of the local artists will take part in the opening reception, with images and information on all 2019 Festival Crafts and Folklife participants available for review. “Outside the Tent” will run through May 3 at The Jazz & Heritage Gallery located at 1205 N. Rampart Street.
