New Orleans, LA (August 10, 2016)- The New Orleans Steamboat Company will host their 4th Annual Steamboat Stomp next month. The festival will take place Friday, September 23-Sunday, September 25, 2016. Steamboat Stomp presents an impressive lineup of local and international jazz artists showcasing New Orleans jazz aboard Steamboat NATCHEZ.

The weekend will kick off Friday evening at the Historic New Orleans Collection with a live concert in the courtyard followed by a visit to Palm Court Jazz Café to see the Palm Court All-Stars. Saturday's events will include a day cruise and dinner cruise on the Steamboat Natchez with a Dockside Jam Session in between. The festival concludes Sunday with a Steamboat Gospel Jazz Brunch.

The lineup confirms performances by Tuba Skinny, the Yerba Buena Stompers with Miss Ida Blue, Banu Gibson, Kris Tokarski Trio, Steve Pistorius Quartet, Topsy Chapman and Solid Harmony, Tim Laughlin Trio with Andy Schumm, Duke Heitger's Steamboat Stompers, Dukes of Dixieland, the Cakewalkin' Jass Band and live calliope concerts by our own Debbie Fagnano.

"New Orleans is known as the birthplace of jazz," says Adrienne Thomas, Director of Marketing. "Our festival is dedicated to showcasing the finest of classic jazz in the most authentic way possible...aboard a real steamboat."

This year, we proudly partner with the New Orleans Hotel Collection and will have a room block at the historic Bourbon Orleans Hotel for our Stomp customers.
