40th Anniversary of “Holidays New Orleans Style” Kicks off
Beloved Traditions to Include Special New Year’s Eve Concert This Year
New Orleans, LA – November 19, 2024- “Holidays, New Orleans Style”, one of the most anticipated and celebrated traditions in the city, is back for its 40th anniversary.
“Holidays New Orleans Style”, which begins from November 19, offers experiences that will mesmerize visitors and locals alike. Throughout the season, Holidays New Orleans Style will offer Réveillon feasts at 44 of the city’s finest restaurants, Papa Noël discounts providing affordable stays at 36 of the city’s finest hotels, and some of the best holiday shopping across the city.
Another favorite holiday tradition in New Orleans are choral concerts at St. Louis Cathedral. Fronting on Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter, the historic St. Louis Cathedral plays host to an annual holiday tradition of staging free concerts by prominent New Orleans musicians, church choirs, and singers in the jazz, classical, gospel, and pop genres. This “Holidays New Orleans Style” Concert Series is produced by French Quarter Festivals, Inc., including the inaugural New Orleans Eve concert in Jackson Square, featuring headliner Tank & The Bangas.
