Whether it’s the iconic turquoise exterior of Commander’s Palace in the Garden District, the private dining rooms tucked all around Antoine's, or the storied oyster bar at Acme, these restaurants have all been around for decades (in fact, some are over 100 years old) and are all bucket-list dining destinations in NOLA. Hartley Wasser is a native New Orleanian, and works as the Director of Editorial and Content Marketing for New Orleans & Company. After graduating with a degree in journalism from Loyola University, she moved to New York to work on the Emmy Award-winning children’s program “Nick News with Linda Ellerbee” before returning home in 2011. She has worked in marketing for the city ever since. Hartley describes herself as “highly food motivated” and spends the majority of her time planning or thinking about meals around the city. She lives in the Irish Channel with her husband, two children, a dog, and a tortoise named Roger.
