After graduating with a degree in journalism from Loyola University, she moved to New York to work on the Emmy Award-winning children’s program “Nick News with Linda Ellerbee” before returning home in 2011. She has worked in marketing for the city ever since. Hartley describes herself as “highly food motivated” and spends the majority of her time planning or thinking about meals around the city.
