With so many chefs heading up foundations to benefit local causes, festivals that donate a portion, or in some cases, all proceeds are a win-win. The celebrated New Orleans Wine & Food Experience draws throngs, Emeril’s weekend of Carnivale Du Vin and his Boudin, Bourbon & Beer and the annual Hogs for the Cause barbecue are just some of the options for over the top fun while giving back.
