Festivals For a Good Cause
At some festivals having a good time translates into helping others out
Wining and dining in New Orleans is not just delicious; it can be for a good cause. With so many chefs heading up foundations to benefit local causes, festivals that donate a portion, or in some cases, all proceeds are a win-win. The celebrated New Orleans Wine & Food Experience draws throngs, Emeril’s weekend of Carnivale Du Vin and his Boudin, Bourbon & Beer and the annual Hogs for the Cause barbecue are just some of the options for over the top fun while giving back. A new entry too is our annual GiveNola Day where anyone from anywhere can donate to their favorite New Orleans charity online and then celebrate at the GiveNola Fest in the CBD.
