Serra International is a group of men and women from around the world who vigorously respond to the call to promote vocations to the ministerial priesthood and consecrated life in the Catholic Church. Started in 1935, Serra has grown to have over 1100 clubs in 46 countries. It is recognized by the Vatican as the official lay organization of the Catholic Church around the world to pray for vocations. Every year Serrans from around the world converge for their annual international convention to share different avenues to ensure that our church is constantly renewed with vibrant, happy and talented clergy and religious. This year they will converge on New Orleans Aug. 8-11 at the Marriott Hotel on world-famous Canal St.
