Dooky Chase never disappoints!! I finally made it for Holy Thursday special (Gumbo Z'herbes) and what ab experience it was!! Of course they were crowded, but all hands were on deck and every employee in the building worked extra hard to get all of the orders and make sure every customer was pleased!! ??

It was exciting to actually get into the restaurant without a reservation. We waited outside before opening time and didn’t think we would get in, but we did. I think the things that gave this restaurant the wow factor for me, was the incredible art and the history of the restaurant. The food, was ok; a bit salty and dare I say it but the fried chicken was bland. I have to be honest and say that the food was underwhelming for me and my family, but we’re glad we went.
