Nestled on the corner of St. Claude and Elysian Fields, Baldwin & Co. is an independently owned book store and coffee shop with a revolutionary twist. Its menu and name pay homage to the legendary writer, the great James Baldwin. The retail side of the shop includes an eclectic range of books and genres from mystery to history, children's to travel. Unique to Baldwin & Co., the space even holds its own podcast studio where guests can book timeslots to record and create.
