The Junior Executive Board of the American Cancer Society is set to host its "Shuck Cancer" event, Thursday, Nov. 15 at Superior Bar & Grill. This block-party style event will take place outside of the restaurant on Napoleon Avenue between Pitt Street and St. Charles Avenue.
Shuck Cancer will feature 20 different types of oysters from around the country, including regional selections, all procured by John Michael, General Manager of Superior Seafood & Grill. For pairing, Shuck Cancer will offer a selection of 36 different wines, beers, spirits, and Superior Grill's house Frozen Pomegranate Mojito. Additionally, bites from Baru, Picnic Provisions & Whiskey, Cavan and a few others will also be served.
