Almost every Sunday in New Orleans, you can expect to see a second-line: an authentic representation of New Orleans culture. Although you may run into a second-line any day at any time around the city, here is a list of some you can plan to see.
Second-lines are made up of a parade leader, a band and revelers. The sounds of brass instruments fill the streets, and you can't miss the colorful mass of people. Jump in on the festivities and shake a handkerchief to the beat of the brass band. For more information of second-lines, see here.
