New Orleans Habitat Pride Build

New Orleans Habitat will be hosting our annual Pride Build, bringing together local members of the LGBTQ community and allies to help build a home for a local family – and celebrate New Orleans Habitat LGBTQ homeowners. Decades of systemic discrimination have barred LGBTQ families and individuals from homeownership. Through Pride Build, we hope to raise awareness of the need for affordable housing for all and its power to transform lives for the better.

You are invited to participate in our annual Pride Build through volunteering, sponsorship, and hospitality efforts. Whether you choose to swing a hammer, wield a paintbrush, recruit volunteers, or donate lunch and snacks, your support is valuable. This is an excellent opportunity to build relationships and strengthen professional networks, all while having a lasting impact on a Habitat Partner Family.

Participants will receive:

• Continental breakfast
• Lunch
• Post-build seafood and beverages
• Pride Build t-shirt

The Pride Build will take place over multiple dates in June - June 2-3, 16-17, and 23-24. Individuals can sign up for $125, or there are various levels of sponsorships, beginning at $1,000.
