Like many events this year, the New Orleans Film Festival has made some major changes to their regularly scheduled programming in the name of health and safety.
As the New Orleans Film Society gears up to celebrate its 31st annual festival, they’ve expanded this year’s event to three weeks filled with both virtual and open-air events.
Festgoers can expect many of the same elements of the NOFF such as exclusive screenings and specially curated experienced and competitions for filmmakers. The 2020 New Orleans Film Festival takes place Nov. 6-22.
2020 Film Screenings
For over three decades, the New Orleans Film Festival has been known to showcase some of the Crescent City’s most talented filmmakers, and this year is of no exception.
Over the span of three weeks, the New Orleans Film Festival will showcase over 160 films virtually on their streaming channel and at open-air screenings at Laffitte Greenway.
Past Film Fest screening categories have ranged from Centerpiece Films and Episodic Content to Animated Shorts and music videos. The 2020 Film Fest lineup will be released Oct. 1. Check back here or the official film fest site for more information.
