About Louisiana Children’s Museum (LCM) Water Wednesdays
Water Wednesdays, hosted by the Louisiana Children’s Museum, are a great opportunity to spend time with family and get out of the summer heat. Not only does playing with water provide children with opportunities to practice the scientific process, but it can facilitate children’s understanding of math concepts (such as more/less, equal to/different, full/empty) as well.On Water Wednesdays, the LCM offers a variety of areas for children to explore with water, such as the Move With the River Gallery and the water table in the Toddler Landscape.
