Indie Chefs Week is an event like no other. As opposed to your typical food festivals or "dine arounds," these chefs prepare thoughtful, composed dishes paired with incredible small producer wines for a small group of diners.
The participant chefs are some of the best in up-and-coming talent in North America. 18 chefs travel to New Orleans to cook with 6 local chefs in a series of three dinners for a small group of culinary appreciators. Each city features two preliminary dinners with 12 different chefs each night cooking one course each paired with small producer wines. The grand finale dinner features all 24 chefs collaborating on 12 courses also with wine pairings.
New Orleans' host chefs are Kristen Essig and Michael Stoltzfus of Coquette resturaunt. Other local chefs include Adrian Chelette of Ancora Pizzeria, Michael Gulotta of MoPho, Marcus Jacobs of Marjie's Grill, and Martha Wiggins of Sylvain.
