Children's author Whitney Stewart is heading to the Southern Food & Beverage Museum! She will lead a cooking demonstration and book signing for her new book What's On Your Plate? Exploring the World of Food. Targeted to kids ages 5-9, Stewart's book takes kids on a tour through the cuisines of 14 countries, complete with a recipe for each one. See how people in different countries prepare, eat, and think about their food. This event is presented in partnership with the John & Bonnie Boyd Hospitality & Culinary Library and is free with museum admission. Those who purchase a copy of What's On Your Plate? in the SoFAB Pantry will receive 1 complimentary admission per book. The program begins at 1 PM in the Rouses Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn-Air, samples are first come first serve.
