Howl-O-Weenie is THE DOG COSTUME CONTEST event of the Halloween Season!! Join us SATURDAY, OCT. 15th at Dat Dog Magazine to see dressed up pups do their little turn on the dog walk. REGISTRATION to participate in contest starts at 3pm in the courtyard. There are limited spots to strut the dog walk, so get here a little early! You MUST make a donation of either pet products or money to Zeus' Rescues to participate. CONTEST kicks off at 4pm. ZEUS' DONATION DRIVE happening ALL DAY, so stop by with any old towels, leashes, toys or anything that could help out!

The pups who place will be well deserved, because we have a STELLAR PANEL OF LOCAL ARTISTS, costumers and designers judging– Jackie Abston (NOLA T-Shirt Club founder), Caroline Thomas (Carnival Historian and maker of fabulous headdresses, among other things) and Shel Roumillat (JAM NOLA installation artist and Nola Costume Center founder). These ladies are EXPERTS, and they'll know a good costume when they see one! Couples costumes (person + dog) encouraged! Fun 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes for doggo and human, as well as food and drink specials for all.

The puppy party keeps going after the contest! Stick around for a special performance by Craig Cortello, the "Canine Crooner," who will be playing hits from his new album "Dog Tales," sales of which also benefit Zeus' Rescues.
It's going to be a chill, fun, fall day for the whole fam, so get to work on that Boba Fett costume for your Pomeranian NOW!
