Howl-O-Weenie: THE Dog Costume Contest of the Season!

If you and your dachshund didn't make the cut during S3E3 of Project Runway, NOW is your time to SHINE!... HOWL-O-WEENIE is here, and it is THE DOG COSTUME CONTEST of the Halloween Season!! Join us on the runway SATURDAY, OCT. 28th at Dat Dog 3336 Magazine, 3pm - 5pm, to see dressed up pups strut the "dog walk." REGISTRATION to participate in the contest starts at noon and ends at 3pm. Register IN PERSON at Dat Dog Magazine ONLY. You MUST make a donation of either pet products or money to Zeus' Rescues to register. The RUNWAY SHOW kicks off at 3:30pm. ZEUS' DONATION DRIVE will be happening ALL DAY at Dat Dog Magazine, so stop by any time with food, old towels, leashes, toys or anything that could help out their rescue pups and kitties!

Costume contest categories this year are HOT! Nice prizes and sweet validation will be awarded for the following:

-BEST COUPLE (this is one dog + one human presenting together, both in costume)
-BEST FAMILY (this is more than one dog + more than one human presenting together, all in costume)
-BEST GROUP (this is more than one dog presenting together, all in costume)
-BEST SOLO (this is for one dog in costume, presenting alone)
-BEST IN SHOW (this is for the best costume of all, for either dogs or dogs + humans) 

We will have a stellar panel of local artists, costumers and designers to judge, so you know the winning costumes will actually be good. There will be more fun, furry happenings during HOWL-O-WEENIE so STAY TUNED for more details. It's going to be a chill, fun, fall day for the whole fam, so start designing for that "Brady Bunch Kids" group costume for your six toy poodles NOW!
