Holidays New Orleans Style Concert Series: Big Chief Donald Harrison with special guest Deezle

New Orleans born saxophonist Donald Harrison is considered a master of every era of jazz, soul, and funk and a composer of orchestral classical music. He has performed with over 200 jazz masters and created three influential styles of jazz. He is the only world-class modern jazz saxophonist and composer who is also a Big Chief in the Black masking Indian tradition. Harrison is joined by 3-time GRAMMY award-winning producer and rapper Darius 'Deezle' Harrison. This concert is produced by French Quarter Festivals, Inc. in partnership with New Orleans & Company as part of the official Holidays New Orleans Style campaign. It takes place at the Ashé Powerhouse Theater in the Ashé Cultural Art Center. FQFI’s holiday concerts are free and open to the public, generally running for one hour.
