Calling all cheese and wine connoisseurs! Fête des Fromages takes place each November to shed light on world-renowned and local cheeses. The grounds of the New Orleans Jazz Museum are transformed by the French American Chamber of Commerce to embody a festival of fine wines and artisan cheese.
The fall festival features international, domestic and Louisiana cheese samples. Red, white, and rosé wine imports from Europe will be available for pairing along with craft beers, ciders and an assortment of waters.
In addition to cheese samples, Fête des Fromages has “Le Marché”, an onsite retail shop. Guests will be able to purchase cheese, cheese boards, coolers and more.
In addition to great food and drink, the festival typically features live chef demonstrations, cheese 101 seminars with wine pairings, and a live music stage. One of a kind experiences begin on Wednesday and the festival takes place on Saturday.
Tickets typically range between $10- $200, with VIP options available. Check out their official website for tickets and more information.
