UPDATE: Our team has been working diligently over the past few weeks, exploring every option that we have to make this year’s Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k a successful event. We are excited to announce that we will continue the Classic tradition by transitioning to a virtual race effective at 8:00 pm on March 13th. This unique experience will give our runners the opportunity to run/jog/walk a 10k course of their choice, get their official CCC10k swag, and be a part of something that promotes fun, health, fitness and friendly competition. In efforts to continue our standing tradition, our Top 500 men and Top 500 women will receive their iconic 2020 Crescent City Classic print. If you are already signed up, you will automatically be entered into our virtual race by March 13th at midnight. Please be patient while we continue to plan all logistics surrounding this unique event. We are staying positive and taking our role as a health and fitness leader in our community very seriously.
The annual Crescent City Classic is not only a great physical challenge but a fun, local tradition as well. Each Saturday before Easter, amateur and professional runners alike unite for New Orleans’ signature 10k race. Some dress in Easter-themed costumes while others come decked out in full workout attire, but all have a good time for a good cause.
The 2020 Crescent City Classic takes place Saturday, April 11 with a two-day health expo leading up to the race April 9+10.
Crescent City Classic Health & Fitness Expo
Before race day, Crescent City Classic hosts an annual Health & Fitness Expo at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. Free and open to the public, the Health Expo features exhibitors showcasing the latest in running apparel, shoes, exercise equipment, nutritional and wellness products, fitness services, and much more. Throughout the day, exporters can catch guest speakers, cooking demonstrations, and fitness classes.
Participating runners are encouraged to stop by the expo in order to receive their registration materials.
