Join us as the Creole Death and Mourning exhibition takes place at Gallier House for the first time! Tour the historic Victorian townhome and learn about a time period when death and the macabre were pervasive. For Catholic Creoles in New Orleans, mourning rituals were an integral part of 19th-century life and a sincere effort to remember departed relatives and friends. This one hour guided tour runs the month of October only.

Tours will take place at Gallier House Friday-Monday, October 1st through November 1st. Tour times are 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM with a closure from 11:30-12:30 for cleaning. Masks and social distancing required.
