Join thousands of carolers in historic Jackson Square to belt out your favorite Christmas tunes! A New Orleans tradition since 1946, Caroling in Jackson Square is the premier community singalong during the holidays for locals and visitors alike. Song books and candles are provided to participants who gather together to sing holiday favorites. Brought to you by Patio Planters of the Vieux Carre as its gift to the City. The event remains free and open to the public and is a fabulous way for families and people of all ages and backgrounds to spread holiday cheer. Gates open at 6:30 pm.
The National Landmark and highly recognizable backdrop earned its name for one of three bronze statues of Andrew Jackson located in the center of the square.
