Opening December 9, 2022 at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Black Alchemy: Remembering Fazendeville gives us a glimpse inside a community that no longer exists: Fazendeville, a former African American community in St. Bernard Parish. Through a photographic archive, artist in residence Aaron Turner brings the narrative and legacy of the community to a new audience. Catch this exhibit on view through January 29, 2023.
