Presented by the Hellis Foundation, Art of the City: Post-Modern to Post Katrina, is a six-month exhibit on display at the Historic New Orleans Collection. From April 6 - October 6, guests are invited to few the works of over 75 native and dedicated visiting artists as they pay homage to the city of New Orleans.
Artists will display through their works how the resilience of New Orleans has contributed to the city’s thriving contemporary art scene.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Hellis Foundation, Art of City is made free to the public.
The exhibit will be housed at the Historic New Orleans Collection’s third campus - Seignouret-Brulatour Building.
