8th Annual Avidity Awards

The 8th Annual Avidity Awards is coming to the New Orleans area for the show’s live taping on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie. The exciting weekend of events will include an emphasis on mental health awareness in the Black community and celebrating the launch of Avidity TV. The Avidity Awards celebrate the accomplishments of independent artists and artists signed to an independent record label. In addition, the Avidity Awards honors the achievements and contributions of the nation's top Gospel music executives, radio professionals, and other industry creatives. This night of excellence boasts a production that has a reach extending to traditional and non-traditional Gospel audiences alike. The Avidity Awards will assemble an array of independent gospel music artists, groups, industry insiders, and spiritual leaders on one stage for an explosive evening of great performances and excitement!
