Receive 2-for-1 admission to guided tours of THNOC's Williams Residence Tour or the Architecture and Courtyards Tour. The offer is good for only one tour, both of which are offered at 533 Royal St. at 10 and 11 a.m., and 2 and 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Williams Residence showcases the French Quarter home of THNOC’s founders, General L. Kemper and Leila Williams. Built in 1889, the Williams’ purchased the two-story townhome in the late 1930s as a commitment to the neighborhood’s preservation and furnished it with items from their world travels. The tour offers not only a window into the lives of THNOC’s elegant founders; it features an enviable cache of internationally significant pieces.
The Architecture and Courtyards Tour illustrates the diversity of architectural styles seen throughout the Vieux Carré, showcasing the seven historical structures that make up THNOC’s Royal Street complex, including a Creole Cottage, an American side-hall townhome, a Creole-Italianate townhome and three private courtyards.
