Cinco de Mayo is another favorite springtime celebration here in New Orleans, and while we can’t gather together this May 5th, we can certainly celebrate at home with a meal from a local restaurant. Check out these spots offering takeout and delivery, and place a special order for your at-home fiesta.

Party in place with a special Cinco de Mayo takeout Family Meal from Barracuda. Choose from two proteins for tacos or one type of enchiladas. The meal comes with green rice, beans, onion, cilantro, cheese, salsa verde, salsa roja, and a bag of chips. 32-ounce jugs of margarita and Happy Hour kits are also available.

La Cocinita

Enjoy $2 chicken or pork street tacos on Tuesday from 2-7 p.m. They are open for takeout and delivery via Pythian Market.

Felipe’s

Stay home and celebrate with Felipe’s Cyber Cinco de Mayo, featuring live Mariachi and Salsa performances, plus more, on Facebook Live. Felipe’s has their regular menu, as well as frozen margaritas, available for takeout and delivery.  

Joel Catering

Choose from ground beef tacos, blackened shrimp tacos, ground beefs nachos, or vegetarian nachos, as well as Mexican street corn, queso and chips, and one quart spicy margaritas.

Located in the Bywater, the taco spot is open Tuesday-Saturday from 3-8 p.m.

Johnny Sanchez

Aaron Sanchez’s downtown New Orleans restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Juan’s Flying Burrito

With locations Uptown, downtown, and in Mid-City, Juan’s is open daily from noon to 9 p.m.

Panchita’s

Located Uptown, Panchita’s is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Del Fuego

Del Fuego is located Uptown and is open Tuesday-Saturday, 2-7 p.m.

La Casita

Another Uptown favorite, this spot is open Tuesday-Sunday starting at noon.

Rosalita’s Backyard Tacos

Accepting orders from 4:30-8:30 p.m. daily, Rosalita’s in the Bywater is as neighborhood as it gets.

El Gato Negro

El Gato Negro’s Lakeview, French Quarter, and Warehouse District locations are open daily from noon to 8 p.m.

Superior Grill

Open at 3 p.m. daily (noon on Saturday and Sunday), Superior Grill is a go-to for Mexican food on St. Charles Avenue.

Taqueria Corona

Open in Uptown and Metairie for all your fish taco needs, for lunch and dinner daily.

Sarita’s Grill

Open Uptown daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
